Princess Leonor of Spain has shared a few personal details about her food preferences, which feel more familiar and heartfelt and rooted in Spanish tradition

In October 2024, while receiving the Medal of Asturias, Princess Leonor spoke about her time in the region. She said that while in Asturias, she even developed a taste for sea urchins, something her sister, Infanta Sofía, initially viewed with surprise.

During visits to Asturias, she has enjoyed local dishes such as cachopo, fabada, and different squid dishes, showing her appreciation for regional Spanish cuisine.

Although she enjoys these foods, her daily diet is mostly guided by her mother, Queen Letizia, who supports a healthy Mediterranean diet. This includes plenty of vegetables, grilled fish, and healthy fats.
